This is a translation for convenience. The legally binding version is the German privacy notice.
This website is deliberately built lean: it sets no cookies of its own, works without JavaScript, and serves its images and typefaces from its own server. The host, however, adds audience measurement. That is set out here too — in full and without varnish.

Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Tiiny Host (tiiny.host). Each time the site is called up, the host processes technically necessary access data in server logs:
- the IP address of the device making the request
- the date and time of the request
- the name and size of the file requested
- a message indicating whether the request succeeded
- browser type and operating system
- where applicable, the page previously visited
This processing is technically necessary in order to deliver the site and to keep it secure. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in secure and trouble-free operation. This data is not combined with other sources, and no profiles are created. The retention period follows the host’s own rules; beyond that the logs are not analysed.
Audience measurement by the host
The host inserts a script into every page it serves, which counts visits. It is loaded from analytics.tiiny.net and uses the Plausible software. Visiting this site therefore opens a connection to that server, and your IP address is transmitted to it.
What is recorded: the address called up, any referring page, browser, operating system, device type and country. The script sets no cookies; it does read your device’s local storage in order to detect an opt-out stored there.
This measurement is not part of how this site is built; it is part of the hosting service. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in knowing the visitor numbers.
If you would rather not: any common content blocker stops this script. The site works exactly the same afterwards — it needs no JavaScript.
What this site does not do itself
Apart from the host’s measurement, this site loads nothing from other people’s servers. Images, typefaces and style sheets are served by this site’s own host. No Google fonts are embedded, no maps, no videos, no social networks. The site itself sets no cookies and needs no JavaScript.
Links to other sites
This site links to the website of WELTBUND ÖSTERREICH. Data is transmitted to that provider only once you click such a link. That provider is responsible for its own processing.
Getting in touch
If you write or call, I process the details you provide in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. I delete those details once the matter is closed and no retention obligation applies. There is deliberately no contact form on this site.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the data held about you (Article 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Article 16), erased (Article 17) or its processing restricted (Article 18), to data portability (Article 20), and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest (Article 21).
